Hamer 228 "Treats" the Children of the Owensville Community to Fun

Presenting the light of Freemasonry in our communities is an admirable goal of our great fraternity. Hamer Lodge 228 hosted their first annual Trunk or Treat event on Sunday October 30th. Event Chairman Brother Nathan Foster did a great job pulling everything together.

Hamer Lodge opened its doors and parking lot to the kids in the Owensville community. Many children and their families participated in trick or treating, free hotdogs, and Halloween themed music. There were decorated trunks, hot rod cars, cupcakes, and a lot of candy.

Four Sixth District Lodges, three Eastern Star Chapters, and the Widows Sons participated and really helped put this event over the top. The reward for all who participated was the smiles on the faces of the children and watching them dance in the parking lot.

Well done Brother Foster, Hamer Lodge, and all those who helped us shine Freemasonry's light in the Owensville community.
